Poems that I’ve been prompted to write are not always my favorites, but they do challenge me to write a little differently,  to use different formats, to write about things I may have not written about otherwise, or sometimes, they give me the perfect opportunity to write about something that’s been sitting in me for a while.

When  do a prompted poem, the prompt will be at the top of the poem.
